Shanghai Securities News, www.cnstock.com, on the evening of Aug. 19, Jinko Power, the leader in the domestic photovoltaic industry, released its semi-annual report for 2021. During the reporting period, the company achieved 1.781 billion yuan of operating revenue, with a year-on-year growth of 2.62%, including 1.372 billion yuan of power generation revenue, 408 million yuan of EPC revenue,170 million yuan of net profit attributable to the parent company. According to Jinko Power, the decrease in net profit was mainly due to the decrease in gross profit of power generation business caused by the grid connection of purchasing power parity projects and bidding projects in succession and the sale of subsidized projects during the reporting period.

By the end of June 2021, Jinko Power held 330 photovoltaic power plants in over 20 provinces in China, with a total installed capacity of about 2,955.90MW, including 2,135.54MW of centralized photovoltaic power plants and 820.36MW of distributed photovoltaic power plants. In the first half of 2021, its total power generation was about 1.708 billion KWH. In addition, the scale of photovoltaic power plants under construction/planning in China was about 1,257.13MW, and the scale of photovoltaic power plants under construction/planning overseas was about 2,302MW (including joint-stock projects).

In its core business line of power plant development, Jinko Power has multiple development models go side by side. Its performance in the first half of the year is quite impressive. In the first half of 2021, the company successively signed several base projects in Fengcheng of Jiangxi, Feidong of Anhui, Dongying of Shandong, Fuyuan of Heilongjiang, Hami of Xinjiang and Shihezi of Xinjiang, with a total scale of about 10.8GW.

The Semi-Annual Report says the company is creating a "concentric circle" photovoltaic development model, with photovoltaic power plant development as the center, radiating to the entire photovoltaic industry chain. In accordance with the "re-development" business strategy formulated at the beginning of the year and based on the current market situation and policy changes, the company is deepening the development of large-scale base projects.

In addition to base project development and distributed photovoltaic power generation project development, the company obtained 454.47MW of photovoltaic power generation project quotas in Jiangxi and Guizhou and completed quota application in other provinces during the reporting period.

In terms of overseas business development, Jinko Power, by virtue of its advantages in professional photovoltaic power generation technology services and its ability to integrate global resources, has won bids for many large-scale overseas photovoltaic power generation projects in cooperation with its partners, including 2,100MW in Abu Dhabi, 182.5MW in Spain, 109MW in Jordan and so on, establishing strong brand influence in Europe, the Middle East and other regions.

The Semi-Annual Report also mentions the company has worked with a number of global energy giants and large consortia, including EDF of France, Masdar of Abu Dhabi, KEPCO of Korea, Total of France, State Power Investment Corporation, Metito Utilities, Al Jomaih and so on.

It is understood that Jinko Power has also signed strategic cooperation agreements with world-renowned companies such as USAS and Aden Group, planning to jointly expand and develop distributed photovoltaic power, BIPV market investment and integrated energy services.
